Aspire ESP 30W
Our Review
The new ESP 30W Variable Wattage Mod is Aspire's first entry into the crowded mod market, and it stands apart from the pack with typical Aspire flair. The ESP is a sleek, carbon fiber-dressed mod that offers 30 watts of real power from its lightweight 1900mAh battery. Aspire has kept the fluff to a minimum here; the ESP has a simple user interface courtesy of the taut digital potentiometer on top of the unit. The dial won't slip or rattle, and it allows you to quickly step output wattage from 5 to 30 watts in 1 watt increments. All relevant information comes through the OLED display: battery level, wattage, adjusted voltage and real time atomizer resistance pops up when you fire the unit or turn the dial, then it goes away. There's no messing with multiple buttons or figuring out voltage/ohm ratios. Simple.
The ESP has a spring-loaded, 510-threaded center pin that adjusts to accept all the leading RDAs, RBAs and atomizers, and the microUSB passthrough means you never have to wait to vape. Plus, with five-click lock and industry standard safety features, the ESP lets you vape down to .3 ohms with regulated confidence. This mod gets an easy 4 out of 5 stars.
